Increase the printing temperature. Try to adjust the "Density" or "Darkness" in the barcode editing software or the interface of printer properties;

The printing temperature is too high, causing the carrier to be scalded.

Observe whether the ribbon is obviously wrinkled and try another roll to see if the same condition exists;
Clean the printer head with an alcohol cotton ball.
First, clean the printer head area with exposed lines using alcohol cotton and try it again. If there are still exposed lines after cleaning, it proves that the printer head has broken pins and it is recommended to replace the printer head;
Adjust the printer head pressure to see if it improves.
Observe whether the metal baffle where the ribbon comes out of the printer head is loose and can be adjusted tightly;
Check whether the metal transition roller where the ribbon enters the printer head is loose and needs to be tightened;
Lower the printing temperature to see if it improves.
Analysis of Problems
The ribbon itself has regular missed coating.
The printer's rubber roller is damaged partly.
There are regular oil stains and glue spills on the label surface.

Check whether the ribbon has regular missed coating through light.
Check whether the printer's rubber roller has damaged spots or pits and replace it if any (the rubber roller cannot be repaired);
Try another roll of labels to see if it improves.
Analysis of Problems
The ribbon has miss backcoating.
The fracture surface of the ribbon is damaged.
The printing temperature is too high.
The printer head pressure is too high.
Troubleshooting and solutions
Place a self-adhesive tape on the backcoating of the ribbon to see if it is easy to remove the tape from the ribbon. If it is difficult to remove, it can be concluded that there is miss backcoating.
Check whether there are nicks or burrs on the fracture surface of the ribbon and gently pull the ribbon to see if it is easy to break;
When the printing is sharp, reduce the printing temperature as much as possible.
Adjust the printer pressure to reduce the pressure of the printer head as much as possible on the premise of ensuring sharp print;
Analysis of Problems
The ribbon is not completely dry.
The printer pressure is too high.
The label is too thick.
The printer has backfeed during the printing process.
Troubleshooting and solutions
Unfold a section of ribbon on the platform and gently press the ink layer with your hands to see if there is a lot sticking to your hands;
Reduce the pressure of the printer head.
There will be indentations if the label is too thick. Adjust the printer pressure appropriately according to the thickness of the label;
Due to the abnormal printer settings during the printing process, there will be backfeed for each label or every few labels, resulting in friction traces of backfeed.

The backcoating of the ribbon is rough and the backcoating chemical is not enough, resulting in large friction.
The printer pressure is too high.
The printer is set to "thermal" mode.

Place a self-adhesive tape on the backcoating of the ribbon to see if it is easy to remove the tape from the ribbon. If it is difficult to remove, it can be concluded that there is missed backcoating.
Adjust the printer pressure to reduce the printer head pressure on the premise of ensuring sharp print;
Change "Printing Preferences" of the printer back to "Thermal Transfer Mode".

The ribbon itself has too much static electricity.
The printer is not grounded.
Troubleshooting and solutions
When printing, place the machine on a conductive platform if possible. If not possible, a static elimination device can be installed on the printer.

The ribbon paper core is deformed, and there is deformation due to compression.
The burrs of the ribbon paper core are too large and there are too many paper scraps.
The printer unwinding shaft is deformed and not straight.
If the ribbon slips on the unwinding shaft, check whether the flat spring of the unwinding shaft fails to work.

Observe whether the paper core is obviously deformed and whether it has become an obvious oval. If so, just return it.
Observe whether the paper core has any paper scraps or burrs. Clean it up and try again. If it still doesn't work, it may be deformed, so just return it.
Check whether the printer's unwinding shaft is deformed or whether there is debris sticking to the shaft. If so, just replace or clean the unwinding shaft.
If so, replace the flat spring. If not, the inner diameter of the paper core may be too large. Just stick one or two labels on the inner wall.

It can be clearly seen from the appearance whether there are wrinkles, and if so, just return it.
